Organized by the **Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (JUCSU)**, the **JUCSU RUN 2026: The Farewell** marks a historic chapter. This year, we are hosting our signature marathon as a tribute to the community, the memories, and the glorious natural canvas of Jahangirnagar University.
Whether you are a seasoned runner tackling our 10K Speed Run, or a hobbyist runner joining the 5K Run, you will sprint along beautiful lakes covered in migratory birds, beneath towering forest canopies, and over the signature red clay of the JU campus.

The top three male and female finishers in both the 10K Mini Marathon and 5K Run categories will receive prestigious Crests and special rewards.
⚠️ Note: Runners finishing after the cut-off time (120 minutes for 10K, 90 minutes for 5K) will not be eligible for official timing or finisher medals.

A high-performance running jersey engineered with lightweight, moisture-wicking dry-fit mesh. Features a deep forest green base with high-visibility neon-lime collar accents and dynamic speed line elements.

Every runner receives a tear-resistant, waterproof bib. For the 10K category, the bib is equipped with an integrated high-precision RFID timing chip on the back to record net start and finish times.

The route consists of a loop around the green borders of the campus. 10K runners complete the full circuit, while 5K runners take a scenic shortcut halfway through the loop.

The run is scheduled for October 2, 2026. The starting assembly point is the Jahangirnagar University Central Shaheed Minar Square. Runners must assemble by 05:00 AM.
Kit collection booths will be open from September 28 to October 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM at the JUCSU office building. You must show your registration confirmation email or verified E-Bib on your phone to collect your kit.
The timing chip is included in the 10K Mini Marathon category. The 5K Run category does not include a timing chip; instead, 5K finishers will receive a participation certificate.
Yes, a complimentary Bus Shuttle Service is available for all registered participants. Shuttle routes depart from Dhaka (Uttara, Gulshan, and Bongobazar) directly to the Jahangirnagar University campus. Specific timings and stops will be sent via SMS and email closer to the event.
No, category changes or registration transfers to other names are strictly not allowed due to safety, medical profiles, and chip configuration protocols.
We have medical posts and drinking water points at every 3 km. Each hydration station has volunteers, fresh drinking water, electrolyte drinks, bananas, and a first-aid representative. Ambulances will be on standby for immediate evacuation.
